Wiener Arbeits Film Festival 26
Festival website
About
The team of the Vienna Working Film Festival, a spring festival in Vienna, contacted me with the request to completely rebuild their website on WordPress, revamp the entire UI, and introduce new components.
Webdesigner:
Amanda Oliveira
Problem
The Wiener Arbeits Film Festival had a platform primarily hosted on WIX, which caused numerous technical problems.
Solution
For the 2026 event, the proposal was to migrate and completely rebuild the entire website on WordPress, including the implementation of new components such as a newsletter and an archive page.
My role
I was the lead web designer and worked closely with the team to understand pain points and new requirements. The project lasted one month, with weekly review meetings.
FRAUEN.ARBEIT.FILM
For the 2026 festival, the addition of a newsletter and a translation plugin for international visitors were small strategic changes aimed at improving new visitor conversion.
Archive page, allowing visitors to view past editions.
